This handmade cyanotype altar cloth is made in an exclusive toile design made for the Hierophanies Tarot deck.
Cyanotype photography is a camera-less image processing technique that involves laying an object on paper coated with a solution of iron salts before exposing it to UV light and washing with water to create stunning white and Prussian blue images.
The altar cloth is printed on light, slightly sheer Indian cotton, and measures 80x60 cm.
The altar cloth is hand finished, and we've embraced the natural dyed edges typical of cyanotype printing, and then hemmed.
You will be able to wash this altar cloth by hand or on a gentle 20 degree cycle on your washing machine when needed.
